Job Description

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer for the Power Technology team. This team is responsible for developing software and firmware for Power System Management (PSM). You will be working closely with software, hardware, and electrical engineers to design, develop, and test responsible algorithms that alleviate and resolve power grid issues in Cuebas, Puerto Rico. 

You are responsible for: 

  • Utilizing low-level programming languages such as C/C++, Java, and Assembly to create high priority applications on embedded hardware. 

Key Qualifications 

  • Extensive experience designing, developing, and testing embedded software algorithms using C/C++, Java, or Assembly programming languages. 
  • Experience with micro-controller peripherals including I2C, SPI, ADC, and serial ports. 
  • Ability to comprehend hardware specs and schematics. 
  • Demonstrated innovative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Excellent collaborative skills. 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.

Title: Instrumentation & Hardware Electrical Engineer 

Location: Cuebas, Puerto Rico

Job Description 

The Instrumentation Team plays a critical role in the creation of sensing technology that will detect discrepancies in power delivery.  

We are looking for a Hardware Electrical Engineer with a specialization in instrumentation design such as those in sensor packages. The Instrumentation Team is responsible for defining, architecting, specifying, crafting, validating, and developing sensor packages and instruments for the Power System Management (PSM). You will be working closely with the Power Technology Team, and other electrical engineers in efforts to alleviate power grid issues in Cuebas, Puerto Rico. 

You are responsible for: 

  • Developing Instrumentation systems and boards using world-class tools and processes. 

Key Qualifications 

  • Experience in analog and digital design. 
  • Knowledge of MCU Firmware architecture, simulations, power analysis, and system validation. 
  • 3+ years of experience in the architecture, design, simulation and validation of control boards. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of high-power end systems is desirable, but not required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.

Title: Design Architect 

Location: Cuebas, Puerto Rico

Job Description 

The Architecture Team plays a role in the placement of sensing technology along critical parts of a region like hospitals and shelters. The Architecture Team is responsible for planning, validating, and developing blueprints for the location of sensor packages. 

We are looking for an architect with a specialization in urban studies. Sensor packages and instruments for the Power System Management (PSM) will need to be placed at critical points in the city. It will be your job to find the most efficient and critical locations in the city. It will also be your job to negotiate development in those regions with local government. You will be working closely with electrical and software engineers to find these optimal locations. 

You are responsible for: 

  • Locating critical locations for power delivery sensors in the city and advocating for those locations in city hall. 

Key Qualifications 

  • Extensive knowledge of urban studies in Puerto Rico. 
  • Experience in urban development and design. 
  • 3+ years of experience in the design, study and validation of civil architecture. 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required. 
  • Sufficient experience in proposals, contracts, project plans and quality documentation. 
  • BS/MS in Architecture or similar.
